About Me
My name is Laura McElroy and I have been a professional freelance makeup artist since 1998. I also am a licensed managing esthetician from Aveda Fredric's Institute. Currently, I am based out of Cincinnati, OH, but will travel to any destination.
I possess a natural talent and a crazy love for makeup that started when I was a very young girl in my hometown of Sibley, IA. I am pretty sure that I was born with my makeup case and brush belt.
I have been professionally trained by Estee Lauder, Aveda, Jane Iredale, and MAC Cosmetics, through work experience and intense classes and seminars.
I specialize in the art of makeup, whether it be Classy Beautiful, Old - Hollywood Glam, Punk Rock Chic, or anything in between and beyond.
I have a healthy addiction borderlining on obsession when it comes to learning anything about my craft... I am a forever student, pouring over books and magazines, taking continuing education classes, and learning tricks here and there from other artists and estheticians.
While working for Estee Lauder, I found another love...skincare. I knew then that I wanted to expand my talents into skincare...luckily for me, skincare and makeup go hand-in-hand.
I went to Aveda Fredric's Institute, graduated with top honors, and received my Esthetic's License in February of 2002. Since then, I have gone on to receive my Manager's License, my Instructor's License, and finally, my Independent Contractor's License... I feel blessed to have my own business, doing the very things that I love...makeup, skincare, and waxing!
I specialize in healthy, beautiful skin, a perfectly shaped brow to frame your face, and a fabulous bikini wax ranging from just a little bit to a full brazilian.
